Europe saw its total number of new plug-in cars surpass 2.5 million for the first time in 2022. When compared to the 400,000 cars sold in 2018, it is evident that the market has experienced significant growth in recent years.

The growth of electrification in the Worldwide vehicle market has revealed the need for used parts due to high-priced new components. Initially, faulty components may be replaced under warranty by manufacturers, but after the warranty period has ended, used parts become a more attractive option. Despite electric and hybrid vehicles having a lower maintenance interval, the cost of repairs and maintenance is still high due to the expensive nature of advanced electronic components. This is evident not only in electric vehicles, but also in cars with internal combustion engines.
